One of the newest Tw-drama staring Ruby Lin, Tiffany Hsu, Lerory Yang, Melvin Xia.
Synopsis:
The drama covers from years 1998 to 2014 with almost 16 years span. The stories start from the young Tang Jia Ni (Ruby Lin) who was university student. She dating Jia Tang Wei (Dylan Guo) who cheated on her and meeting Fang Wei De (Lerory Yang) who also university student, later becoming one her friend (still don’t know whether they dating or just has crush).
Beside Wei De, she also has others friend Zheng Rui Rui (Tiffany Hsu) and Wang Jun Jie (Melvin Xia) who had crush on her.
Their relationship were kind of good during that time until on day when earthquake happen and everything just changed.
sixteen years later, all of them grow up as adult and mature. Tang Jia Ni who thought would be with Wei De married to Wang jun Jie who has crush on her during school time, while Wei De dating others girl who incidentally knows Jia Ni and Rui Rui is the third wheel in Jia Ni and Jun Jie marriage life who also has son with Jun Jie.
My Impression:
I haven’t watch this drama but I had peek on the preview and found it kind interesting but also boring (very contradiction as usual). To be honest the story plot is not my cup of tea but I really curious with all the cast who are so well-known in Taiwan Showbiz. Not to mention Ruby Lin as producer but she also plays as the lead female. Famous names such as Lerory Yang, Ruby Lin, Tiffany Hsu, Melvin Xie even Dylan Guo (as cameo) lures me lot to getting know and watching the drama.
Melvin Xie might not really known in RTaiwan but his previous project wasn’t bad in China. He has “more than enough” to take share in this drama, I think.
Others than the drama story plot and the cast, I do feel Ruby really doesn’t change so much from the first time I saw her in Huan Zhu Ge Ge with Vicky Zhao Wei. Time might pass but she her beauty seems timeless, she even more beautiful.
She even suit to take 16 years old role with kind of old fashion in 1998.
