Caught In The Heartbeat starring Wei Da Xun, Jiao Jun Yan, Yang Ting Dong, Wei Tian Hao and Wang Zi Xuan. This drama is about Tang Yi Xiu (Wei Da Xun) a young police officer that by accidentally met Gu Jing (Jiao Jun Yan) when he was doing undercover in one of hospital. While Gu Jing is one of the patient in that hospital who has been in coma state for about three years. During the mission, accidentally Tang Yi Xiu entered Gu Jing’s room and coincidentally, Tang Yi Xiu fell on Gu Jing top and kissed her lips. Strange, suddenly Gu Jing woke up from her coma but lost her memory from three years ago, the incident which caused her to be at coma state.
Gu Jing is someone who has an excellent memorizing ability. She can memorize anything only at one glance but at same time this ability is also her weakness because whether it bad or good, she wouldn’t be able to forget all the memories she had. Weird, after she gained her conscious after three years coma, she almost doesn’t have any problem with her brain at all, only sometimes there a man who keeps on popping out in her mind who she doesn’t know who the person is.
Gu Jing is coming from police family background. When she was a child, her father was a police and when she growing up she also taking same career alike her father, as a police. Because of one case, Tang Yi Xiu meeting Gu Jing and even get into same team. They work together to solve the case.
My Impression
Caught In The Heartbeat is Chinese drama which has unique as well quite fresh story plot for suspense and crime genre because in order to solve the crime, Tang Yi Xiu should kiss Gu Jing or Gu Jing should listen to Tang Yi Xiu’s heart beat in order to recall her memory.
This is my first time watching Wei Da Xun’s acting although Caught In The Heartbeat isn’t his first drama. Speak frankly, I do fine with all the actors and actresses moreover, I can say this drama has few eye-candy actors which give good impression for me.
