Finally I have time to talk about Buried City To Shut All Lights casts: He Lan Dou and Feng Li Jun as the leads. To be honest I really didn’t have any idea when first time I decided to watch this web drama other than He Lan Dou.
This drama is about Officer Li’s daughter Qi Yue (He Lan Dou) who later changed her name as Yi Luo when she sent to Chu household to be Chu second master’s discipline, Chu Che (Feng Li Jun). The second master of Chu is described as someone smart, intellectual also very good looking person who dislikes to meddle into politic world and prefer to keep himself inside his mansion after he traveled around the world. Some of people said it kind of wasteful but for Chu Che this peaceful life is something he loves the most.
As for Yi Luo (He Lan Dou) is young miss from Li household, her father is imperial officer with quite high rank. One day, suddenly her father sent her to Chu household, telling her that she would stay in Chu household for sometime and learn knowledge from Chu Che. At the beginning she was so unwilling because she preferred to stay with her family rather than staying in the Chu household. She tried many ways to escape and leave Chu household but every times she would get caught. Although her master is someone cold, but just as her father ever told her, Chu Che really is someone so remarkable, finally she decided to stay and bear all her master coldness and learn few skills from her master such as martial art that she loves. But one day after she sent by her father, only by one night her Li’s family has vanished.
When Yi Luo knew her family vanished, she wanted to revenge but stop by Chu Che, he excused that she hasn’t strong enough to fight the culprit thus he asked her to learn more skill and promise her that he would help her to revenge.
Another interesting character is An Zi Yi, Chu Che best friend as well his personal doctor. An Zi Yi character is bright as well super active young man. He likes to tease as well playing with Yi Luo. He treated Yi Luo as his own sister and sometime when Chu Che wasn’t around them, both of them like to badmouthing him.
My Rambling:
Personally, I don’t really like the filmed quality. As for the story plot, I think it quite refreshing to add werewolves in ancient time genre. This drama also has quite thick sweetness especially the scene of Yi Luo and Chu Che. Speak frankly, I didn’t find Feng Li Jun match to play Chu Che as visual but for acting all the young actors and actresses are doing good job.
Other thing that cause a dilemma for me when watching this drama is the antagonist, yes the bad guys. There are two men who are Chu Che love rival, Luo Hong Ying (Wu Heng) and Luo Han Tong (Liu Ze Ting). Both of the men are from neighborhood country, both of men are falling for Yi Luo and these two men are brothers as well princes. One is the ruler and the other one is holding military force. Although Luo Hong Ying and Luo Han Tong are the bad guy but I have soft spot for both of the men because they are really love Yi Luo although in very wrong way.
This isn’t happy ending drama from my point of view although in the end both of the leads finally married. Session one is so tricking, session two bit melancholy and session three got more heartaches.
