陪你到世界之巅 AKA Gank Your Heart or literally translated as Accompanying you to the top of world is one of the newest drama starring Wang Yi Bo and Wang Zi Xuan. An E-sport genre drama in which Wang Yi Bo acted as e-sport top player and Wang Zi Xuan as commentator.
Ji Xiang Kong (Wang Yi Bo) is one of the professional top player in E-sport game who even joined world competition while Qiu Ying (Wang Zi Xuan) is Internet anchor with low viewer traffic. In order to get high view traffic, Qiu Ying decided to go to Vancouver to do live report for E-sport World Competition that still going on.
Due to few misunderstanding between Ji Xiang Kong and Qiu Ying, many times two of them caught themselves in arguing and bantering. But due to the frequency and chance they meet, slowly two of them fall for each other. Ji Xiang Kong and Qiu Ying share a same dream to stand together to the top. One is dreaming to be the best E-sport player and another is dreaming to be top commentator for E-sport. They know their path is hard and rocky but two of them share a same faith that they can reach their dream through hard work.
My Likes and Dislikes:
I really like Wang Yi Bo pairing with Wang Zi Xuan in this drama. Speak frankly, Wang Yi Bo’s acting is better lot compare to last time when he played with Joe Chen in Love Actually. As for Wang Zi Xuan, her acting is totally okay. I started to like her since the first time I watched her in My Mr. Mermaid.
I like the idea to bring up E-sport theme in drama because through this drama, it let me know better about e-sport career and also the hardship that professional e-sport facing.
This drama also has good OST, especially the song that sung by Wang Yi Bo.
My opinion about the story plot may sound bit contra. To be honest I really like the concept of this drama with e-sport theme also the flow from first episodes to middle episodes. But sadly, at certain point the story is little bit dragging and not really has smooth flow, I could feel they ended the story in hurry. I like the romance touch in this drama. It is sweet, fluffy and light.
Lin Yi Xuan (Ding Guan Sen) and Lu Yi Yi (Lu Xiao Yu) are the other interesting couple that able to make you laugh with their bantering, especially Lin Yi Xuan who weaker than Lu Yi Yi.
Other actor that caught my interest is Yan Yu Hao. This is my first time watching him playing as the second lead. Moreover the character that he played just too different that he used to be. Strangely, I feel so comfortable to see Yan Yu Hao acting as Bei Xi. Bei Xi, this character is quite unique. In the beginning episodes, he acted as if he is Ji Xiang Kong’s rival in E-sport but at last he is actually following Ji Xiang Kong’s footstep.
