A Big Eyes Girl And Puppy

Once upon a time, inside a deep forest, there was a girl with such a big pair of eyes living inside a wooden house. One day when she went to a river to take fresh water, she met a group of teenager that seemed to have a same age with her. She was coming closer to them because she wanted to make friend. So that she walked closer and then greeted them by showing her wide smile. Instead of expecting a return welcomed, she got splashed with water as well being threw pebbles by them.

The teenagers shouted,”Weirdo!” In front of her. She didn’t give up. She tried to have and made friend. But, after one time, two times, three times attempted, she failed. Slowly the smile on that girl’s face disappearing whenever she met other people. She was feeling so lonely to the point she didn’t want to get out from her house because she afraid people would treat her bad.

Then one day, when she was sitting in front of her wooden house doing nothing, she saw a puppy that not far from where she was sitting. That puppy was wagging its tail, trying to come over and get closer to her. She ignored that puppy in the beginning, but the puppy still there for long time, sitting in front of her wooden house and still wagging its tail whenever its saw her.

Slowly the girl got to open her heart and then she started to smile again even it was only a faint smile whenever she saw that puppy wagging its tail to her. After sometime, the girl with pair of big eyes slowly showed her wide smile, she thought the puppy would fear and run away from her but to her surprised, it’s still wagging its tail whenever seeing her. Since then, the puppy was living with the girl and she wouldn’t feel lonely anymore because the puppy companion.

 

This story is inspired after watching It’s Okay To Be Not Okay. I got the idea to write this story after I see few ‘children books’ that showed in the drama.
