He is drawn to Xin Yu in a way that he has not felt in a long time. Will Yi Ting discover a new lease on life through Xin Yu?

My First Impression
The Opening
It is so unusual for me to talk drama opening especially for the scenes during the opening song. But, I should admit, if not because the opening scenes and songs, I think, I would not check the drama this soon. The opening scene during the song is started when the male lead playing a chess alone, but there was hesitated expression with the male lead while holding one of the chess piece in his hand.

The Characters
Zhou Yi Ting played by  Marcus Chang
I have watched few male leads who took evil role at the beginning and most of their motive clearly stated since the drama started for example: Sealed With A Kiss. But, this drama is totally different because since the first episode when Zhou Yi Ting made his appearance, I really could not make my guess what character he is. Throughout the drama, his expression could as cold as thousand iceberg but he also could smile as warm as morning sunshine, especially when he with the female lead.

Lei Xin Yu played by Eugine Liu
This female lead is a typical innocent, naive and happy go lucky girl who is harmless and view world in very simple ways. But her life suddenly changed when she coming back from overseas and found out her mother’s company has bankrupt and run away leaving her alone. From rich girl went down to homeless, since then she is exposed to cruel world that she never known before.

Zhong Qian Ren played by Sean Lee
He is the second lead who by coincidentally met Lei Xin Yu when he was passing street and wanted to go to deliver some goods. At their first meeting, Zhong Qian Ren was thought Lei Xin Yu as the victim of domestic violent due to her messed appearance. He borrowed his outer and also shoes to Lei Xin Yu.

Jian Xiao Yue played by Easter Yang
Jian Xiao Yue is a parking lot attendance who encountered Lei Xin Yu coincidentally when she was saved by Zhou Yi Ting for the second time.

Tang Qian Ni played by Angel Hong
Tang Qian Ni is very typical antagonist character who jealous to the female lead, Lei Xin Yu. She is engaged to Zhou Yi Ting but the male lead has told her that he does not love her.

Songs (Opening and closing)
I like the song so much and it really described the drama itself.

The Story Plot, Actors, Actress, etc.
The story is quite interesting because this type of plotting not many in Taiwanese Dramas. I like the way they filmed the drama, the OST and also the actors and actress. Their acting are not bad especially for the male and female leads because I never watched them before and for the supporting actress and actors, Sean Lee and Easter Yang, their acting are no questioned. As for the Antagonist character, I think Angel Hong acting was less evil and fierce as someone who hatred Lei Xin Yu to the bone as the drama described.

  1. Wow. Thank you very much for the review. I’ve been watching Snail and waiting for Wolf Prince and Princess Weiyang and totally missed hearing about this drama. Looks intriguing…

  2. That’s odd , the beginning sounds like a c novel I read some time ago … charming smile something ??? Is it an original story or a live action ?

  3. I first saw Marcus Chang in “Back to 1989” on Netflix. If you have Netflix, give it a try, it is quite a good drama and he is very swoonworthy in it.

Touch the heart by words
